AFFIRM 2010 CFO-CIO Summit

Given the fiscal challenges facing our government, the need for credible and timely financial management information to support well-informed decision-making is greater than ever. The delivery of accurate, timely and consistent government information to citizens has become paramount for the Obama Administration and new and innovative solutions are needed to help Agencies quickly meet the mandates of the Open Directive. US government agencies must publish their information online in "open formats" under a new open government plan released by US President Barack Obama's administration.

AFFIRM will host a full day of discussions examining how effective information sharing provides the transparency and analysis necessary to effectively assess, monitor, and manage, federal financial systems.
