The AFFIRM Education Committee promotes awareness of high quality educational excellence offerings to the Federal IT community and its members and further promotes the internship and scholarship program which was initiated in 2000-2001. 

In 2007, the Scholarship program will be revised.  The scholarship program will have two aspects.  The first, AFFIRM has partnered with 6 Universities to provide scholarships to undergraduate students studying IT or a related field.  The second is the Lisa Winkler Memorial Scholarship to be provided to Edison High School in Alexandria, Virginia.  The criteria for both scholarships are provided below.
