Washington, DC 20001

The seismic shifts that uniquely occur during Presidential transitions effect every aspect of government. This year’s impact is already under scrutiny. Organizations like IT Alliance for Public Sector (ITAPS) and the Partnership for Public Service have devoted considerable executive talent to analyze and recommend steps to make the upcoming change in Administration a smooth and effective one. Under scrutiny too are recommendations for investments in technology and innovation.

We’ll explore with government and association speakers:

1. Key takeaways on the Partnership for Public Service report, Making Government Work for the American People - A Management Roadmap for the New Administration

2. Overview of lessons learned from prior government reform practices

3. Insights into the recommendations on leveraging executive talent

4. Recommendations for the next administration to build upon the foundation of innovation of past administrations

5. Share insights on the roles of the IG, agency leaders and Congress in helping agencies operate more efficiently and effectively
