2nd Annual IT Job Shadow Day

IT Shadow Day is an academic activity designed to give students the unique opportunity to observe the Federal IT work world.

AFFIRM, in conjunction with the Federal Chief Information Officers Council's - IT Workforce Committee and Junior Achievment announces its plans for the 2nd Annual IT Job Shadow Day for Metropolitan DC area high schools on *Thursday, February 7, 2008*. This highly successful  event had 25 agencies hosting 25 high schools, and 230 students last  year.

IT Shadow Day is an academic activity designed to give students the  unique opportunity to observe the Federal IT work world. Students will  learn about a Federal agency and "shadow" federal government IT  professionals as they go through their work day. The program  encourages students to pursue a career in the Federal IT workforce.  The theme of IT Shadow Day is "Moving IT Forward."
