The introduction of new and improved IP-enabled devices is continuous. This constant technological evolution is the primary reason that the Internet is experiencing a growth spurt. The next generation Internet (IPv6) promises increased address space, pervasive networking, and enhanced security. This escalating demand for "always-on" connectivity has set the stage for an innovative IP world centered around ubiquitous communications.

Luncheon Attendees Will Learn:

  • How the next generation Internet will enable an Intelligent Transportation System providing significant safety, mobility, and commercial benefits.
  • The critical success factors for the vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII) Project
  • How wireless communications could affect emergency preparedness on our highway infrastructure
  • Implications of not embracing the new Internet
