On February 5, 2008, AFFIRM will be hosting our 4th annual scholarship fundraiser: A Taste of New Orleans to support the scholarship fund.  We will have Dr. Aldridge, President of UMUC speaking as well as the Ballroom Dance Company performing.  It will be a night filled with food, festivities, and fun!  So, come out and enjoy Fat Tuesday with AFFIRM.

As part of AFFIRM’s mission to improve the management of information within the Federal Government, we have been providing students interested in the IT and Science fields with scholarship money to assist in their education pursuits through our annual fundraising event. The program supports students from six universities.  This year, we continue to expand our scholarship fund to help even more students.  Our goal is to contribute an additional $20,000 to this program during 2007 – 2008 school year.
